Using Guided Imagery to Support Your Wellbeing – Taster Session

23 Sep 2021

10:30 am - 11:30 am

Online via Zoom (link to join will be provided after booking)

Guided imagery involves listening to someone’s voice, relaxing the breathing and directing the ability to imagine.

Research has shown that guided imagery can help to manage stress, reduce fear and anxiety, as well as reduce the occurrence of headaches. This online taster session will allow time for an introduction, followed by the guided visualisation and then space and time after for group discussion.

Guided imagery can be a useful technique for many individuals, however it is not for everyone. Therefore, if the session does not feel comfortable participants are welcome to leave or mute the group at their own discretion, and are still welcome to join in with feedback at the end. If this taster session proves successful, then this can be continued on a more regular basis.
