Nature for Health Fair – Saturday 4th October

We are now just under two weeks away from the Nature for Health Fair, and we’re really looking forward to it.

📍 Venue: Workshop Galleries, Woodhorn Museum, Ashington, NE63 9YF

🗓 Date: Saturday 4th October

🕚 Time: 11am – 3pm

🎟 Entry: Free entry to the fair (normal museum admission applies)

The fair will bring together nature-based charities, organisations, societies and community groups from across the North East. It’s a great chance to discover opportunities, meet others, and explore how connecting with nature can support health and wellbeing.

On the day you can:

• Learn how spending time outdoors can boost mental and physical health.

• Chat about training and volunteering opportunities.

• Find out about local initiatives that benefit your community.

• Explore ways to support local nature and wildlife causes.

Whether you’re interested in volunteering, finding out about local projects, or just looking for new ideas, there will be something for everyone.
